Sabina Roth und Peter Gartmann haben schwarz-weisse und monochrome Baumbilder geschaffen, zerbrechlich und fragil –

sie wirken wie filigrane, räumliche Objekte, sphärische Baumwesen –

voller Leichtigkeit und Vielschichtigkeit.

Die Bäume werden zur Abstraktion, archaisch und sakral –

als Symbol des Universums, als verbindendes Element im Kosmos.

in fortlaufender Veränderung und Verwandlung, aufgehend in einem neuen Bild –

The light of trees – art paintings

Sabina Roth and Peter Gartmann have created Black-and-white and monochromatic art paintings of trees, frail and fragile –

they appear like delicate, spatial objects, spherical tree creatures –

full of lightness and complexity.

The trees become an abstraction, archaic and sacral –

symbolic of the conscious and subconscious, of the visible and invisible.

The tree represents the connection between heaven and earth –

as a symbol of the universe, as a connecting element in the cosmos.

The tree shining through, brought to life by the light –

in constant change and transformation, arising in a new image –

tree of life – a great mystery, full of miracles and secrets.

The tree images are the result of Sabina Roth`s and Peter Gartmann`s long-standing visual exploration of the subject of trees and woods – based on individual image series around the nature of trees.
